Needlework Ladies

It's always lovely to be back at Needlework after a break .... in this case we have been in recess for the school holiday period here in New South Wales!    And the ladies have been very productive in our absence ..... and with Christmas only 5 months and 1 week away !!!!!   .... Audrey has made this beautiful Christmas table runner .......

It looks so festive ....

And the little Santas are terribly cute .....

Not content with one penny bag, Ethel is making another in these lovely autumn tones ....

Shirley F has made this inspirational wallhanging for her daughter who is a school teacher ....  based on the recent "Homespun" block of the month .....

And Shirley has put together, and Jenny has beautifully quilted, this lovely old fashioned embroidered quilt .......   a little hard to see in this photo, but just divine .......

The colours are fabulous, and the quilting and stitchery is superb ..... gorgeous Shirley !!

Osla has been crocheting lots of lovely squares to make a colourful rug .... this is a lovely design ....

And yes .... you can tell it's winter here with lots of knitting and crochet happening .... Jennifer has knitted up this amazing coloured jumper ... and in the true spirit of friendship within our group, when she ran out of wool, Shirley W came to the rescue with a small ball she had left so that Jennifer could finish her jumper off!!   Looks great Jen!!
