I cannot believe that four years ago today I began publishing this blog and it has allowed me the absolute pleasure to meet so many new friends from all over the world ... so thank you for reading and following and commenting and for welcoming me into your homes! And so it is equally amazing that Vicki should be having a "Grow Your Blog" party over the next few days to encourage others to read and join and meet new friends also!
Keep an eye out on Vicki's blog HERE over the next few days and you can visit lots of the blogs who are joining with her and celebrating this amazing worldwide friendship that we have created for each other! And to celebrate both my 4 year blogging anniversary today and the Grow Your Blog party, I am giving away a special gift .... this little canvas work pincushion (which should be finished by tomorrow hopefully) .... here it is as a work in progress earlier this week ....
To enter the draw please leave me a comment on this post! The lucky winner will be drawn on 1st FEBRUARY 2013 at 6.00pm (Australian time) Good luck everyone and thank you for all your lovely comments and emails over this past four years!
And as part of the Grow Your Blog party I am meant to introduce myself to new followers who may be reading my blog for the first time .... so please bear with me those of you who know me well already!! I am married to the gorgeous David and we have four amazing children ... Sam, Ashleigh, Elliott and Chelsea! We all celebrated Ashleigh's wedding in December 2012 to her childhood sweetheart Tim! I love embroidery and needlework of all sorts ... basically anything that involves a needle and thread! I teach embroidery and needlework in my spare time and in my not so spare time I am a Legal Secretary. My aim for 2013 is to finish off the embroidery book I started to write last year which will hopefully be published under the title "Peaceful Threads" ... the same as my blog title! I hope you enjoy browsing through my blog and I welcome any comments you may wish to leave! Have a great day and happy stitching always!! xx Fiona xx
