Stitching in the Hills 2015

What a week it has been ... suffering a little jet lag but very excited to be heading off today to Canberra to prepare for our "Stitching in the Hills" weekend which starts tomorrow afternoon at Warrambui just north of Canberra ....   Sylvia and I have prepared a treat for all the ladies who will be attending and we are looking forward to catching up with lots of regulars and some new faces for a fantastic weekend of fun and laughter, stitching and eating, and maybe a little walk in the sunshine ... looks like the weather will be great in the Hills !!   The kits are all ready and packaged, the patterns look great and we are anticipating another creative weekend! Here are some of the ladies from last year enjoying our Saturday night celebrations !!

You might be able to work out that there was an "orange" theme to our Saturday evening !!  This years theme is "rainbow" which basically covers everything so we are looking forward to what the ladies come up with !!

It was lovely to be back at Needlework this week after three and a half weeks away ... lots of lovely projects being worked on by the ladies and Jennifer had finished off her embroidered and appliqué big hexagon quilt .... lots of meaningful sayings embroidered into this quilt with lots of lovely memories too .... beautiful work Jennifer !
